David Guetta

 David Guetta는 프랑스 출신의 프로듀서이자 디제이입니다. 67년생인 그는 약 16년간의 기나긴 나이트클럽에서의 무명활동 끝에 2001년 첫싱글의 발매, 그리고 2002년 첫 앨범의 발매를 통해 세상에 자신을 알리게 됩니다. 이후 꾸준한 앨범발매를 통해 인지도를 쌓아올린 그는, 비로소 2009년에 세계 정상의 프로듀서로서 자리매김 하는데요. 2009년에 발매한 'One Love'라는 앨범 수록된 곡 중 'When Love Takes Over', Gettin' Over You', 그리고 'Sexy Chick' 이 세곡이 모두 미국 챠트에서 TOP 5에 랭크되었을 뿐 아니라, 영국 챠트에서는 이 세 곡이 모두 1위를 차지하는 등의 상업적인 성공을 이루게 됩니다. 그의 인기는 앨범과 싱글의 판매량을 통해서도 짐작이 가능한데요. 2012년까지 판매한 그의 앨범은 300만장, 그리고 싱글은 1500만장이라고 합니다. 현재 가장 핫한 Dutch House의 아티스트인 그는, 유명 힙합 뮤지션, 팝 뮤지션, 그리고 프로듀서들과의 작업으로도 유명합니다.

 David Pierre Guetta was born 7 November 1967 in Paris, France, is a French House music producer and DJ. Originally a DJ at nightclubs during the 1980s and 1990s, he co-founded Gum Productions and released his first album, Just a Little More Love, in 2001. Later, he released Guetta Blaster (2004) and Pop Life (2007). His 2009 album One Love included the hit singles "When Love Takes Over" (featuring Kelly Rowland), "Gettin' Over You" (featuring Chris Willis, Fergie & LMFAO) and "Sexy Bitch" (featuring Akon), the last becoming a top five hit in the US and all three reaching #1 in the UK. As well as another internationally known single called Memories featuring KiD CuDi which became a top five hit in Belgium, Austria, Czech Republic, Australia, the Netherlands, Finland, New Zealand, France and Ireland. Guetta has sold over three million albums and 15 million singles worldwide. He is currently one of the most sought-after music producers, having worked with a variety of pop and hip-hop artists including Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna, Lil' Wayne, Kylie Minogue, Taio Cruz and Madonna.
