Nicky Romero는 89년생의 네덜란드 출신 아티스트입니다. 많은 유명 아티스트들 처럼 Nicky 또한 어린나이부터 음악을 접해왔습니다. 6살의 어린 나이부터 Marching Band에서 스네어를 쳤다고 합니다. 이를 계기로 Nicky는 열정적으로 드럼에 빠져 연습하게 됩니다. 수년간의 드럼 생활에서 그만의 비트와 소리를 연구하게 되었고, 훗날 이를 자신의 작곡, 리믹스에 이용하게 되었다고 합니다. Nicky는 Hardwell, David Guetta, Fedde Le Grand, Sander van Doorn 등의 월드스타들에게 서포트를 받고 있으며, 그들과 함께 많은 작업도 해오고 있습니다. Nicky의 가장 히트한 Tune으로는 'Toulouse'가 있으며, 2012년을 전후로 그의 인기는 최근들어 점점더 증가하는 추세입니다. 

Nicky Romero, real name being Nick Rotteveel, born January 6, 1989 in Amerongen, Netherlands, is a Dutch DJ and house music composer/producer. Raised in Amerongen, Netherlands, he has worked with and received support of his tracks from DJ's such as Hardwell, Tiësto, Fedde Le Grand, David Guetta, and Sander Van Doorn. Arguably his biggest track of 2012 so far has been "Toulouse" which was a mainstay on the Beatport Top Ten for some time. Recognizing his talent, MTV named him an EDM artist to watch in 2012. His popularity has risen in recent years and has attained a joint residency with David Guetta at party hot spot Ibiza for the summer of 2012.
